The amount of ashes left after a cremation depends on a number of factors. Think of the weight of the deceased, the bone structure, but also the type of coffin. On average, 3 to 3.5 liters of ash will remain. Depending on this, you can choose between a 3 and a 4 liter urn for an adult.

The 2 liter urn is ideally suited to combine with the small 300ml urns. For example, you have the option of placing a large urn with the partner of the deceased, and smaller urns with the children of the deceased. A 2 liter urn is also suitable for a smaller person.

In addition, the place in the house is another consideration. If you expect to place the urn in a spacious place, a larger urn may be more appropriate there. Of course it also works the other way around. If you have a nice little spot, a smaller urn is probably nicer.

If you are unsure about the size, we advise you to wait with purchasing an urn until you have been able to collect the ashes at the crematorium.

The urns are made of wood-filled 3D printing filament. This gives the Waymood urns the look, feel and smell of real wood.

The Waymood urn partly originated from the idea that an 'urn' is more than just an 'ash holder'. The urn also has a strong function as a memorial object; a subtle, stylish monument to a loved one. Of course, the object does not have to be filled with ash either. The smallest urn in particular is very suitable as a 'keepsake': a mini urn for storing a personal memento, such as a watch, jewelery or a letter.

Waymood urns are intended for indoor use. The urns are not suitable for outdoor use, as rain and direct sunlight have a negative effect on the material quality. Therefore, do not place the urn in direct sunlight indoors.

The Waymood urns are made to measure, personalized. This means that the right of withdrawal does not apply to our urns. This means that the 14-day cooling-off period after delivery – which applies to many other products – does not apply.
